Těšíme se na pokračování!. This game has its own charm. In the first moments it seems complicated. Once the player understands the system and style of play, the game will reward him with a beautiful experience. The player is continuously amazed and gradually discovers new possibilities. I like that player does not play by the hand, but after a few moments, is able to move the story forward. Whole game is graphically beautifully crafted, audio as well. For the whole game I met with no problem.. Unique in its kind, fun to play, unique gameplay, beautiful visuals and I look forward to more of this.. Sadly it's just a frustratofest. And looks like intentionally so, at least to some degree. I doubt developers wanted to have bad controls, but that's what they created besides other poorly thought-out things. Looks like some people enjoy the game though, so maybe give it a try if you feel so, but expect frustration.. Beautiful game. The art and music/sound is very immersive. I hesitate to call it a point-and-click adventure because the mechanics are deeper and more creative than what one would usually find in that genre. I hope the developers create the other two stages that you can see on the progress map, I will be a customer.. graphics mess- story- pixel hunting- music- sound- controls- menu ( don't waste your time with this, just press alt+f4). This game is one of the best I have played, little bit of adventure and puzzling challenges to figure out.All in all I love the art style and the game play. I suggest you give it a try if you ever get the chance.. If I had to drescribe this game with one word, I would go with "different", because it IS different. In more words, it is poetic, original, fascinating. Some puzzles are easy, some are not. And the amazing thing is, that the game is not using any text. You have to figure everything by yourself, and that is really the fan part.I have finished my first run through it today, and found out, how much I have missed. So I will play it again (and probably again).. Another game with an artistic vision but no game design skills.This is some of the worst gameplay I've experienced in a long time.- Pixel hunting. Those tiny hit boxes are simply wrong.- Poor controls. I've been patient with them, because they kind of fit the squid theme, but they are quite wearisome nonetheless.- Deplorable visibility. Interesting art, incompetent presentation. The squid camouflaged over the train. Things of interest hidden in backgrounds. Doors tiny (I often get stuck inside rooms.) Now remember the tiny hit boxes.- Grind. Lots of things need a repeat. After charging the train 37 identical times, I almost left. But I'm stubborn. The tornado room, however... well, I passed it, obdurately, yet I knew, grinding it, that it would be the last. I'm done. When a game feels like labour, it's a fail.- Shall I mention the sad, sad GUI ? I mean, there is a mini-menu, sort of. Okay, I don't mention it.You can solve most puzzles, really, just by clicking randomly or shaking the squid until something moves. The others will require even more patience, but no more than 1 gray cell.. A notably stylish and captivating puzzle/adventure game. Probably the best game of its kind since Botanicula. Main story arc is played in the passenger train on the same railroad and you will not venture forth. Both stories are therefore located in the same place - The Border City - but in different time. You will also meet main protagonist Ann Tagrezbung from the first game. We must warn you, she is quite lovely, unmechanical and still human...We decided to tell a story of Dark Train (2016) purely without any text just with atmosphere, symbolism and non-textual narrative tools. It was a design challenge for sure, but we persisted and the game was critically acclaimed for its atmosphere, enigmatic nature and its unique visuals (DT won Czech Game Award 2016).
